Boilers Don't Send A Warning Text Before They Give Up For The Winter
Most people only think about the boiler once it's already stopped. An annual service is what stands between that and a fault caught quietly in September instead of an emergency call-out on the coldest night of the year.
It's also the difference between a warranty that's still worth the paper it's printed on and one that lapsed two winters ago because nobody kept the service record. Worcester Bosch, Vaillant and the rest all make their longer warranties conditional on an annual check, and won't budge on a claim without proof of it.
